William Dale Rowe, 84, entered the Light of God's Eternal Love just as the new day began 8.8.16. He passed very peacefully, his sons there with him, leaving the shackles of dementia behind, as he set sail to where his parents Dale & Pauline Rowe, brother Mike Rowe and all of our other family members and dear friends who have already made the journey are waiting to hug him once again.
Dad did quite a bit with his life, born in Tulsa, OK, graduating from University of Tulsa in 1960 with a degree in journalism, serving as Corporal in the US Army for 2 years, marrying Joan Patricia King in 1952, raising four children together with her. Along the way, his sharp metal acuity and management skills lead to a patent or two, several positions all over the country to supervise and drive efficiency in design and production of manufactured homes, and finally to become President at Redman Industries, Inc., from where he retired at the ripe old age of 46. For us children, our year in the Bahamas in 1972, living on a 46' sailboat, had a profound effect on all of us, making us sailors like him.
He is survived by our Mom, Joan King Brennan; his second wife, Markell B. Rowe; sons Chris (Anne), Neil (Bambi); daughters Jennifer (Javier), Suzanne (Bill); Granddaughters Jessica (Zak), Adrienne; Grandsons Travis (Brent), Devon (Cathryn), Ian (Nicole), Matthew; great grandsons Silas, Barrett; brothers Jerry, Chuck, and Rick; sisters, Pat, Paula, Sharron, and Dalene.
