Violet Zastudil Obituary

Violet Marie Zastudil passed away October 4th, 2024. She died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Denton, Texas. Violet was born September 9th,1938 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and grew up in Akron, Ohio.

She is survived by her sister Evelyn Anderson of Fairmont, West Virginia, Brother-in-law Robert Bell of Hartville, Ohio, Brother-in-law Ronald Bonnette, Sister-in-law Sue Bonnette, both of Garland, Texas, Daughters; Tamara (James) Williard of Denton, Texas, Shelley (Mike) Van of St. Louis, Missouri, Amanda (Kevin) Holcomb of Sherman, Texas; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, adored nephews and nieces and many dear friends.

Violet worked in the banking industry for over 40 years and retired from Texans Credit Union in 2003. She enjoyed working a part-time job at Cracker Barrell after retirement. She loved traveling, reading, archeology, history and game shows. Her favorite show was Jeopardy, and we believe that if given the chance, she was a Quiz Master and could have won.  Violet loved her HOT coffee every morning with Sweet Italian creamer. Mostly more creamer than coffee.  It brought her joy and happiness to start her day with a good cup of SWEET HOT coffee.

" Life is too short for a bad cup of coffee".

There will be a Celebration of Life service for Violet for family and close friends. Date, time and place will be announced in the near future.

"Gone from our site, but never from our hearts."
