Thomas Lloyd Hennig (89) of Dallas, TX passed away peacefully at home on June 30, 2020. His memorial service will be at Gateway Funerals & Cremation, Dallas on Saturday July 18, 12-2pm.
Tommy, also known as Daddy, PaPa, Great-PaPa, Great-Great PaPa, and T. Lloyd was born in Rowlett, TX October 23, 1930. His parents were Frank and Maggie Hennig. He was an amazing man who loved life, God, his family and friends.
Tommy married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Lucian at St. Edwards Catholic Church 10/10/53 after returning from service with the U. S. Army in the Korean War. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Tommy worked 25 years for Standard Brands Company and retired to a life full of family, hunting, fishing, gardening and many other activities. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1837.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers & 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Shirley; 3 daughters, Sharon Leath-Malone, Cindy Morphis, Brenda O’Shields (Lee), and son Glenn Hennig (Kelly); 11 grandchildren, Shanna Fowler (Brandon), Brandon Malone (Amanda), Nick Malone (Juliette), Jason Allen (Courtney), Zach Allen (Lisa), Clint Allen (Tiffany), Sheryce Schrader (Keith), Shawn Schrader (Miranda), Chris Hennig, James Hennig (Tana), and Hunter Hennig; 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and 1 sister, Helen Wallace.
