Stefanie Lee Jones

Stefanie Lee Jones, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2025 at the age of 54 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on October 24th 1970 to Frank and Virginia Kousal in Waco, Texas. Stefanie graduated from Midway High School in 1989 and went on to get her Bachelor and Master degrees at TWU and WGU. 

Devoted spouse, Chris Jones married Stefanie on May 4th 2002. She was an HR learning and development administrator at Globe Life for 8 years. 

She was an avid crocheter, loved to play mystery games on her phone, the color red, elephants, Fleetwood Mac, and of course her family and friends. Stefanie knew how to make any room brighter. She would always get people to talk, laugh, and smile. She was always her own person and unapologetically herself. Her hugs were always a great place of comfort. She had a beautiful singing voice and would sing along in the car with her daughters. She would always put others before herself. 

Stefanie Jones was an extremely loving wife, daughter, mother, and sister. She is survived by her husband Chris, daughters Brianna and Addison, mother Virginia Kousal, sister Ashley Cowley and brother-in-law David Cowley, mother and father-in-law Melvin and Louise Jones, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Stefanie’s celebration of life will be at the Bevel House, 405 S Chestnut in McKinney, Texas 75069 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm on Saturday October 25th.
