Squire Robert Thomas, Sr.

Squire Robert Thomas was born on April 27, 1961 to the parentage of Eugene And Ora Thomas. He was the youngest of 11 childern his parents preceeded him in death along with 2 brothers and 1 sister. 

Robert accepted Christ at a early age under the leadership of Rev. OJ Spuriells Warren Chapel AME Church. 

Robert attended South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, TX and later attended Lincoln Technical Institute where he received his degree in auto mechanics.

Robert was united in marriage to Cheryl Albert. To this union 2 childern were raised. Squire Robert Jr , and Sharon Albert. God also blessed Robert with 3 other childern Christopher, Jonathan, and Tamia Cherie. 

Robert was employed by Minyard Foods as a truck driver for 20 years where he later retired in good standing with the company. 

He leaves to cherish his memories 6 sisters: Marie Humphrey, Richa Smith, O’Dean Scott, Celestine Wallace, Christine Booker, Tracy Jefferson and 1 Brother Adron Thomas. He also leaves a host of Nieces and Nephews 4 grandchildren along with other family members and friends. 

Pall Bearers: Squire Thomas Jr, Kenneth Franklin, Howard Franklin and Sirvesta Thomas.

I breath'd a Song into the air It fell to earth, I [knew]1 not where. For who has sight so keen and strong That it can follow the flight of a song? Long, long afterward in an oak I found the Arrow still unbroken; And the Song from beginning to end I found again in the heart of a friend.
