Shelley Denise Kelly

Shelley Kelly was born on August 30,1979 in Los Angeles, California to Charles and Connie Price. Shelley was nicknamed Shirley by her mother. She was 1 of 4 siblings Yolanda, Billy and Marlon.

Shelley’s childhood was filled with love, laughter and joy surrounded by those she truly loved and who truly loved her. Shelley soared with her academics receiving a plethora of academic awards. She loved the game of basketball which she played for several years and was a huge Los Angeles Lakers fan.

After graduating from Cheyenne High School in 1997, she went on and obtained her degree in Criminal Justice. After college Shelley entered into the laboratory side of the medical field which she absolutely loved and excelled at what she did.

Shelley was a real-life superwoman. Her biggest accomplishment, as she would say, would be her 4 beautiful children. All who knew Shelley knew what a wonderful mother she was and how proud she was to be one. Not only a proud mom but also a very proud GiGi. She loved her grandbabies fiercely. She was always there for us to cheer us on in our activities as we were growing up and supported us no matter which activities we chose to participate in. 

Shelley was a social butterfly who participated in many social clubs and always got along with everyone. She brought so much love and light into the lives of everyone's path she crossed. Shelley was a beautiful, smart, loving, caring and kind woman. An Angel on earth and she will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her life partner Anthony (Tony), her older sister Yolanda and baby brother Marlon, her 4 kids Eboni, Elijah (E.J.) , Rashawn (J.R.) and Adriana (RiRi), her grandchildren Nevaeh, Symphoni and Triniti, her nieces Nicole, Tytiana and nephew Moises. Shelley is also survived by many people who weren’t family by blood, but family nonetheless. She is preceded in death by her loved ones Charles, Billy and Connie.

A presence bound to be missed. A soul gone way to soon. We miss you mommy. Gone, but never forgotten. Most certainly not a goodbye, but a see you later. Give Grandma, Papa and Uncle Billy a kiss for us.
