Sheauny Su Mackenzie

On Thursday, May 5, 2022, Sheauny Su Mackenzie passed away peacefully after a long battle with breast cancer.

Sheauny was born on October 5, 1973 in Taipei, Taiwan to Kuo-Hsiung Su and Chunpi Shih. She was the oldest of three siblings, U-John Su and Susan Su.  Most of her childhood was spent growing up in Taiwan. However, she moved to Addison, Texas on July 4, 1990 with her parents and siblings. Sheauny graduated from Warren Travis White High School in 1993.

Sheauny married Bruce Mackenzie on February 28, 1997, and had one daughter, Yvonne Mackenzie, who was born on February 7, 2002. They moved from Addison, Texas to Frisco, Texas in 2006. Sheauny started her career and passion for fitness in 2007 specializing in group exercise classes and personal training. She worked for many athletic and gym facilities such as The Frisco Athletic Center, YMCA, The City of Frisco Senior Center and many others over the next fifteen years.

In 2017, Sheauny was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and began chemotherapy treatment in September of 2017. This was just the beginning of an unpredictable five year journey with breast cancer. However, Sheauny was always a fighter, even until the end. She stayed strong and fought through every medical obstacle that stood in her way.

Sheauny was the most selfless person. She always wanted to help others before herself even during her hardest moments in life. She loved everyone in her life and was always kind to all. She will be dearly missed.

Sheauny Mackenzie was a beloved mother, wife, daughter and sister.
