Samantha Stokes Wood, Sam, 44, of Farmers Branch, Texas, passed away June 10, 2017.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2010 at Gateway Funeral Home, 17390 Preston Rd. #310 Dallas, Texas 75252. Rev. Ray Todd will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 16, 2010 at Gateway Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gateway Funeral Home.
Sam was born in Abilene, Texas November 11, 1972. She graduated from Abilene High School.
Sam was married to Joey Wood for 10 years.
Sam worked as a office clerk for UPS for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, biking, walking in the park, caring for her dog and cat, and spending weekends with her husband.
Sam is survived by Joey Wood, spouse, Parents Austen and Carmen Souza and Dale and Sara McFaddin. Brothers Michael Stokes and Adam Stokes. Sisters Lolita Antunes, Jessica Stokes, and Jennifer Stokes. Nephews Danie Sotelo, Zachary Sotelo, John Stokes, and Joey Stokes. Nieces Alexis Brake, Isabella Stokes, and Adelaida Stokes. and many other family and many friends.
Sam is preceded in death by Father John Stokes.
