Mr. Ronnie Darryl Bolden aka HOF was born in Hamlin, Texas on October 6, 1962, to the parentage of the late David and Ola Mae Douglas Bolden.
He received his formal education in the Dallas Public schools.
One brother, Donnie Bolden, preceded him in death and one sister, LaWanda Newman, earned her wings on January 29, 2023.
The Angel of Silence entered Ronnie’s life Friday, January 27, 2023.
Although, Ron has spent over 16 years in the staffing industry, it is his work outside of his professional life that delivers a more telling glimpse into “who” he really is. Having a servant’s heart probably best describes him because for more than 18 years he has given his time to invest in the lives of Inner City youth, by serving on the sidelines as a volunteer football coach. Ron had faithfully poured his time and talents into future generations.
He is survived by his wife Selina Bolden: Children: Brandon Porter Bolden, Camille Bolden, Olivia Johnson; Siblings: Jacquelyn Pollard, Linda J. Brown, Deirdre Bolden, David Wayne Bolden, Kevin Tyrone Bolden, Ray Bolden, 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
We will all miss him, and our lives will be less joyful because he is not here, but how fortunate we are to have had him in our lives. We are all much better for having known and loved him.
The family of Ronnie Darryl Bolden wishes to thank New Century Hospice and more specifically the nurses, Angelica, Leigh Ann and Dorry.
