Richard Edward Murphy, 61, of Garland, TX passed away February 11th, 2021. His memorial will be held March 13th at 11:30 am at Shiloh Baptist Church Lamartine, 420 W CR 60 Waldo, Arkansas. His final resting place will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Waldo, Arkansas, next to his daughter Jenny and his ex wife, Jeanne.
Richard was born September 28th, 1959 to Troy and Mildred (Wreyford) Murphy. He was the youngest of 4 children. He was always a family man. He loved his children and his grandchildren with his whole heart. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking and building. He was a man of many talents and passed this on to his children. He spent his later days with his grandchildren, telling stories of the "big fish that got away".
Preceding him in death are his ex wife, Jeanne Murphy; his daughter Jennifer; his parents, Troy and Mildred Murphy; and his sister and brother in law, Lois and Charles Williamson.
He leaves behind a son, Eric Murphy of Azle, TX; a daughter, Jessica Murphy of Garland, TX; six grandchildren, Chyanne and Chloe Clark of Lubbock, TX; Breonna Talley, Andrew Weaver and Kinsley Parker of Garland, TX and Alaina Lightcap of Fort Worth, TX; two nephews, Kenneth (Jennifer) Williamson of Hope, AR and Robert (Connie) Williamson of Blevins, AR and several great nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
