Patsy "Pat" Beth Green Milliken, 69, of Dallas, TX, passed away on July 22, 2019, at UT Southwest Hospital in Dallas after battling multiple myeloma for several years.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for July 27, 2019 at her home in Carrollton, TX.
Pat was born in Wynnewood, OK, on May 15, 1950, to Elbert and Ima Green. She graduated from Wynnewood High School in 1968. After attending East Central State University, with an adventurous spirit Pat moved to Dallas, which then became her lifetime home.
Pat was known for being loving, fearless, and outspoken. In her young adulthood, she was a champion motocross/dirt bike racer, traveling the state and country, racking up multiple awards and trophies. She was always hard-working - purchasing her own home and investment real estate property at 18 years of age. She was a realtor and broker and maintained her real estate business all of her life.
Pat was completely devoted to her family, especially her three daughters and seven grandchildren. Her grandchildren gave her the most joy and were the light of her life. She supported her daughters in every aspect of their lives. Her grandchildren called her "Gigi" and "Grammy" and all knew she loved them completely and totally.
Pat also embraced her extended family and close lifelong friends. When her Uncle Bill became sick she opened her home to him. He lived with Pat for 20 years - supporting one another other until his death in February 2019. Anytime her family or friends needed a place to gather, celebrate or spend a night, Pat always graciously offered her home. Pat was generous beyond her means, freely giving to family, friends, and friends of friends - often for reasons of need, but also just because she loved them. She loved the people in her life fiercely and never missed an opportunity to tell them. She will be missed by so many.
Pat is survived by her mother, Ima Green, sister, Phyllis Courtney (Michael), brother, Dennis Green (Dominique), and three daughters Julia Rhie (Gene), Sarah Milliken (Mark) and Allison Williams (Wes). She is also survived by seven grandchildren (Mia, Logan, Ryan, Luke, Elise, Lexi, Leland) and numerous close friends and family members.
She is preceded in death by her father, Elbert Green, of Wynnewood, OK.
