Patricia Louise Davis

Patricia Louise Davis was born on August 12, 1934 to Laura Louise and Harvey Martin Felts in Dodge City, Kansas. Patsy, as she was known during her childhood, lived in Dodge City her first few years, San Diego, California through her school years, and then Wichita Falls, Texas. This is where she met Joe Wayne Davis who was finishing service in the Air Force and moonlighting as a dishwasher in a drive-in restaurant where Pat (as she was now called) worked as a car-hop. They were married on April 3, 1953. They ended up settling in Dallas and they had five daughters. Joe Wayne was a fireman and had a business as a welder and Pat was a homemaker. She used her talents and creativity to sew all her clothes, make dresses for her daughters and she made every birthday special. She was also an incredible gardener. Pat and Joe Wayne were divorced in 1969 and soon after, she began work as a parts inspector at Southwest Airmotive/Aviall where she worked for 26 years, retiring in 1996.

On June 3, 1997 Pat married Tom C. Jones. They were married until he passed away in September, 2010. For many years Pat and Tom, along with their grandson, Lawrence, created and set up elaborate outdoor displays for the Christmas season which were featured in the Plano newspaper. Pat continued to sew all her clothes, maintain a beautiful yard and became a master of crochet, participating in the Sisters of Service at Waterview Church of Christ for many years.

Pat stated more than once that she has had a full life and was ready to meet the Lord. She met Him face-to-face on June 3, 2022.

At her request, Pat was cremated and a memorial service will be held at her church, Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sisters of Service at Waterview Church of Christ.

She is survived by her half-brother Douglas Ebersole; Children: Debra Reid and husband Jim, Brenda Nieves and husband Carlos, Rhonda Sheftall and husband Ed, Trena Davis, and Cindy Davis and husband Garry; Grandchildren: Lawrence Rosales and son Aiden, Stephen Sheftall, wife Lauren and son Theodore, and Brian Sheftall.
