He is survived by his loving parents Stan and Marsha Friedman; his brothers Joel Friedman and wife Kellyn, and Jeff Friedman and wife Tammy; his niece Brooke Friedman; his nephew Brett Friedman; his nephew Blake Friedman and wife Kelly; and his niece Sarah Friedman.

A Celebration of Life service in honor of Mark's extraordinary journey will take place on October 12, 2023, at Prestonwood Baptist Church - Plano Campus in Plano, Texas. The event will commence at 3:00 PM and provide an opportunity for all who knew Mark to gather together in remembrance of a remarkable man who brightened so many lives.
