Lynn Poole Obituary

Lynn Maurice Poole was the youngest child born to the parents of  Essie Lee Poole and Edward Frank Poole, in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 27,1947.  Lynn was a Son, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Brother In Law and Uncle that lost his battle with cancer on March 12, 2021, at the age of 73.  Lynn was loved and will be missed by many.

Lynn attended Francis W. Parker #56 grade school and Arsenal Technical High School graduating in 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Lynn enlisted into the Army in 1966 and was stationed in Okinawa transferred to Vietnam and then to Korea receiving an Honorable discharge and earned several medals.  After his military service Lynn attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis West Lafayette, Indiana receiving a Bachelor of Science – Construction Technology and also attended Indiana Vocational and Technical College – Architectural Technology Indianapolis, Indiana.

Lynn served as Vice President Of Project Management/Program Manager at CMTS LLC, Dallas, Tx. since 2015.  He had 47 years of experience in the engineering and engineering related field.  He was a seasoned professional with proven ability to build strategic plans, deliver and launch new projects.  Lynn’s expertise managing major multi-discipline projects included such clients as Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority to name a few.  As a program manager, he was responsible for the synchronized management of multiple, simultaneous civil and structural projects under design and construction.  Lynn truly loved his work and took pride in his many accomplishments.

Both Lynn’s parents, older brother John Poole, and sister, Willorette Owens preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years Jonnetta (Mickey) Carpenter-Poole, older sister JoAnn Horne(Wallace) Indianapolis, Indiana, SIL Mary Louise Poole(John) Cleveland, Ohio and Uncle Gregory Hayes(Pamela).  Lynn leaves behind 3 sons from his first marriage Tyrone Poole(Pamela), Reginald Poole(Shanna) and William Poole, stepsons Mark Lane(Christine) and Joseph Trotter(Autumn).

Grandchildren:  Christian Poole, Christopher Poole, Brian Poole, Chasity Poole, Christin Poole, Christopher Daniel Poole, Cameron David Poole, Marquise Lane, Ashley Lane, Amber Lane, TJ Wistrick, Joseph Trotter V, Charles Trotter, Isaiah Trotter, Breanna Phillips, Brendon Singleton and Braylyn Singleton..

Great Grandchildren: Bryson Poole, Brian Poole Jr, Greyson Phillips, Brooklyn Phillips, nieces, nephews as well as longtime friend of family Lisa Cosby, and a host of family, friends and coworkers.
