Lloyd Gary Cook Sr. was born to Sarah Cook on April 7, 1959 in Jackson, MS and was the fourth of nine children. He attended the Jackson Public School system and was a graduate of Central High School. He later attended Jackson State University. He soon after joined the job corps and studied the trade to become an electrician.
Lloyd was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his pride and joy Texcine on November 29, 1981 in Jackson, MS at the Holiday Inn. He ended up moving to Texas shortly after for a better opportunity for him and his wife and future children. They together had five children and instilled in each of them to be loving and kind. He was a family man tried and true and a loving father. He was always willing to offer and share advice even when unsolicited and his wealth of knowledge will be sorely missed. He was a man of faith and a true Child of God.
