Leora "Lee" Jean Holbrook

Leora (Lee) Jean Holbrook, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Leora was born October 24, 1939 in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania to Buster and Cecelia Humbert.  After retiring from the University of Texas Dallas Police Department, Leora relocated to Mena, Arkansas to live out her remaining days. Leora is survived by son Donald McVicker of Mena, Arkansas; daughter Karen Banks of Melissa, Texas; sister Sylvia Gross of Levittown, Pennsylvania; brother Albert Humbert and wife Carol Humbert of South Mills, NC; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bernard Sherlock and Gilbert Humbert. 

She enjoyed spending her free time crafting, sewing, making stained glass, baking, collecting dolls and going to estate and garage sales.
