Karen Ann Grega

Karen Ann Grega, 81, of Mesquite, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 29th , 2024, at the Rowlett Health & Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

Karen was born in Ravenna, Ohio on August 7th , 1943, to Alta Marie & Paul Andrew Grega. She lived in Canton, Ohio and graduated from McKinley Senior High School in 1961, prior to moving to Los Angeles, California. There she worked as a warehouse manager for many years, eventually being reassigned to Wisconsin. After retiring, she moved back to Ohio to care for her ailing mother. She moved to Texas following her mother’s death.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and mother Alta Marie. She is survived by her brother David of Osnaburg, Ohio and brother Jon (Barbara) of Rockwall, Texas; niece Jennifer Crum (Clarence), of West Salem, Ohio; nephews Jeffery Grega (Michelle) of Wheaton, Illinois, Jon Grega (Teressa) of Vermillion, Ohio, Timothy Grega (JoAnn) of Rockwall, Texas, James Grega (Wymesha) of Dallas, Texas, Matthew Grega (Kaitlin) of Valdosta, Georgia, as well as many great nieces and nephews, and the many friends she made in her travels.

Karen will always be remembered for her steadfast devotion and love for her mother, who she attended and cared for in her later years. Karen will be missed by her family and many friends
