Obituary

Gary Michael Kroneberger was born on January 14th in Worthington, Minnesota, to Michael and Marilyn Kroneberger. He was very active, determined, and strong-willed.  His mom and sister describe him this way.  He was so handsome, he loved to joke, and was a talented athlete.  Gary was the anchorman for the track team, being relied on to win the race, had a great golf swing, and was a high scorer on the basketball team for his high school.

He had a determination and drive in all he did, including his work.  Whether it was Napa Auto Parts, Streeter Store Fixtures, running his own business, working independently, or most recently at Midwest Retail Services, he brought an unmatched ability to deliver and provide value to his clients.  He had a career well lived and impacted those around him in a way they didn’t forget.

Gary loved to golf. Many a sunshining day you could find him playing in a tournament, entertaining clients, or simply enjoying a round of golf with friends.  He recently became a member at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, TX, and got to enjoy more golf in the past few months than in the last several years.

Gary loved to have a good time, to laugh, and could fill a room with his energy and charisma.  He loved to go to restaurants and order a perfectly done steak.  He enjoyed travelling with his wife Kelli, cooking, and grilling just about anything.  He really, really loved eating delicious food and perfecting his culinary creations. He also appreciated good scotch or red wine. He enjoyed all kinds of music; you could find him with his sunroof open blaring one of his favorites.

Gary passed away on Saturday, July 23rd at UTSW Hospital in Dallas Texas, surrounded by his family at the age of 61.

Gary is survived by his wife, Kelli Taylor of Allen, TX, his kids Lindsey “Lini” and Josh Christian of Albertville, MN and Janey Kroneberger and Zach Metzger of Dallas, TX.
