Fred A. Benner, Jr. went to his heavenly home on May 23rd, 2020, at the age of 58.
Fred was born in Newport News, Virginia on February 13, 1962 to Fred A. Benner, Sr. and Dolores Cantrell Benner. In his very early years, his family moved to the Fort Worth area from Waco.
Fred attended Diamond Hill High School and graduated in 1980. He worked for the Fort Worth ISD for 17 years. Fred was also a volunteer firefighter and EMT for River Oaks. He joined the U.S. Army to fight for our great country and was proud to serve in the 1st infantry unit.
Fred is survived by Erica Andrews of Mansfield, Texas; special buddy, Razz; and son, Christopher Benner of Ohio.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Fred A. Benner, Sr.; mother, Dolores Cantrell Benner Chassin; step-father, Louie Chassin and his two brothers, Lyle and Randall.
Services for Fred will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at the DFW National Cemetery at 9:30 AM.
