My mom, she was a warrior of God. She had a loyal heart. If she loved you, she demonstrated it and if she didn't, she would tell you too. When we came to the United States, Mom, my brother and I, she was afraid but she never demonstrated that to us and it's because of God and her, that we are here. She began working right away as a housekeeper and got us an apartment. We had a hard time at first because we were in a new country and had to start all over again but my mom never lost her faith in God. She was always the first one up every morning to get everything ready for us to go to school. For me, my mom was a warrior of God.

Francisca, a kind and loving person, Francisca had a life packed full of action and excitement. She was a faithful spouse and mother who always gave herself to the needs of her children. Francisca gave me the gift of humility and kindness. She stood high at 4'9" as a courageous woman who never backed down from any circumstances and I will miss her.

Tita.
As a little girl, she hung from the circus tight rope by her beautiful long braid. As a young woman, she rode horses at a speed surpassed by only the wind. As a mom and a wife, she endured, strengthened only by The Father. Tita never backed down from a challenge, even those that attempted to steal her joy and very essence. Her courage was exceeded only by her compassion. I am better for having known her and will be forever grateful for having been loved by her. Until we meet again Tita-
