Frances Janice (Worley) Sanders, a long-time resident of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday August 18, 2021. She was born in Colorado City, Texas on October 6, 1937 to Jack and Bernice Worley.
Janice graduated from the first class of Monterey High School in 1956.
She was a realtor, a jeweler and even a flight attendant in her earliest years. Janice loved cooking (which she did wonderfully) painting beautiful watercolors and traveling to the Mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.
She had a wonderful smile, impeccable taste and a stubborn streak a mile wide.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Janice joins her parents, her brother Bob as well as her daughter Jenavee. She is survived her husband Larry Sanders of Denton, her daughter Jennifer Rawlings and son-in-law Dennis of Austin Texas; Grandchildren Mason and Madeleine Rawlings whom brought her great joy.
Janice will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. There will be no service.
