Dwight Darrell Carpenter, 71, of Rockwall Texas, passed away on March 5th, 2021.

Dwight was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on November 29th, 1949. He graduated from Columbus High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s in Business Management from University of Maryland.

Dwight was married to Linda on August 23rd, 1969; they were married 51 years.

Dwight retired from the United States Air Force in 1997 with a rank of Senior Master Sergeant, having served our country faithfully for 26 years, including through Desert Storm. He went on to work at L3 Communications for 15 years before retiring in 2012. Dwight enjoyed golfing and cheering for his beloved Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer football teams.

Dwight is survived by wife Linda Carpenter, son Chris (and Kim) Carpenter, grandchildren Skylar and Quinn Carpenter, sister Debbie (and Stan) Benzine, sister-in-law Joy (and Mike) Endres, brother-in-law Todd Wallace, and many other family and friends.

Dwight is preceded in death by father Paul Carpenter, mother Elaine Carpenter, brother Dale Carpenter, and grandparents Mabel and Frank Oliva.
