Dorothy Crow Walsh, born on July 5, 1943, peacefully entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2025, at the age of 81. A devoted mother and grandmother, Dorothy's life was a testament to faith, love, and unwavering kindness.
Dorothy's greatest joy was her family. She raised her beloved daughter, Carrie, and later embraced the role of mother once more by adopting and caring for three great-grandchildren: Destiny, Michael, and Areanna. Her home was always filled with warmth, wisdom, and a steadfast commitment to instilling a love for Jesus and for others.
Her compassion extended beyond her family to all of God's creatures, particularly the stray animals that always found their way to her doorstep. Dorothy's heart had room for every lost and lonely soul, whether human or animal, and she gave selflessly for as long as she could.
Dorothy was preceded in death by parents, Tommy and Nancy Crow, her husband, Ralph, and her granddaughter, Christie.
Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of faith and love in her daughter, Carrie, her three adopted children: Destiny, Michael, and Areanna, her two grandchildren: Alisha and David, five great-grandchildren: Justin, Bella, David Vinson III (DJ), Kamdyn, and Chloe, and 4 great-great-grandchildren: Berkley, Legend, Kali, and Rafe. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
Dorothy's life will be celebrated in a private family gathering at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on February 25, 2025.
