Dina McDonald, 90, born on May 27, 1935, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Mr. Dwight Lyman Moody and Mrs. Anna Delilah Kaye Battle, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. A beloved mother, wife, and friend, Dina dedicated her life to nurturing those around her with kindness and compassion. Known for her warm smile and generous spirit, she touched the lives of many in her community.
Dina was deeply passionate about her family and took great pride in celebrating their achievements and milestones. She enjoyed, cooking, and sharing stories of her rich life experiences. Her unwavering support and encouragement inspired those who knew her, leaving a lasting legacy of love.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Anthony Maurice McDonald and her husband, James Maurice McDonald. She is survived by her son, Tiberius (Elena) Vadan of New York City, New York, and a host of friends who will cherish her memory.
Dina's life was a testament to the power of love and connection, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. After a celebration of life with family in Dallas, TX, a private graveside service will be held at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens in Nashville, TN.
