Charlsie Faye Cottle most recently of Dallas, Texas, passed on to glory on March 27, 2023. Charley, as she was affectionately known, was born in San Augustine, Texas, to the late Samuel and Lillie Peck on August 26, 1939. Charley was a free spirit who always saw the good in everyone. She was a joy to be around and had an infectious smile. She was an avid golfer and always made time for a game of Mahjong. She will be missed.
Charlsie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Dr. Kenneth Cottle, stepson Kevin Cottle, and all her siblings. She is survived by her sons Wiley Spann and Jody (Lynn) Spann of Andalusia, Alabama, stepdaughters Diana Lansing of Dallas and Jeanenne Carr (Freddie Ingram) of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. A special thank you to Diana for always making sure Charley was taken care of properly.
