Carole Jeanne Smith

Carole Jeanne Smith passed away at her home in McKinney, Texas on July 22, 2024. She was born in Youngstown Ohio on September 9, 1942 to parents Alfonso and Amanda Smith. Carole was a North High School Bulldog graduating in 1960. She was an avid reader who enjoyed any type of reading material that she could lay her hands on. Family always knew who to call for all types of remedies because she was a staunch fan of Heloise's Tips in the Youngstown Vindicator. She loved to play the piano and sing in her church choir including singing as a soloist at weddings. She was often affectionately referred to as Mother Nature because of her love for working in the yard or garden.

Carole worked many years in sales for several retail stores including Atlantic Mills, Joseph Hornes and Dillard's until 2007.

She leaves to mourn her loss: her sister Norma Muwallif of McKinney Texas, her nephews Donald (Robine) Morrison of McKinney, TX David Morrison of Youngstown Ohio, Douglas Morrison of Columbus Ohio, and Rasheed (Nicole) Muwallif of Indianapolis, IN and nieces Jamillah Wilkes and Akilah (Delvin) Wooten both of McKinney, TX, 12 great nieces and nephews and 5 great great nieces and nephews many of whom she helped raise. She will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.
