Obituary

On 2/14/2023 Carmelita Apodaca transitioned peacefully as she was called home to be with The Lord. May those who mourn her passing gain comfort and healing in knowing they’ve gained an angel to protect and guide them. She enjoyed a life filled with various roles and achievements. Her most treasured were that of devoted mother, doting grandmother, and dedicated teacher. Her caring and generous nature impacted the lives of many. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her: Children Gilbert J Apodaca, Anna M Apodaca, Sylvia Y Apodaca; Grandchildren Derrick Apodaca, Ashley Ordaz; Great Grandchildren Krysta Apodaca, Aedan Ordaz, D.J. Apodaca, Ryder Bowen, Jaycen Apodaca, Levi Apodaca, Emma Apodaca; Great Great Grandson Weston Lovingier; Sister Lucy Farraro; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at www.GatewayFuneralsAndCremation.com. In lieu of flowers, cards, or Go Fund Me, contributions can be made to the charity Reading Is Fundamental.

Mom… Grandma… (and thanks to Krysta, Aedan, and D.J.) Gramalita… Thank you so much for everything! Especially Life, Love and Memories. Until we meet again. Rest in Peace. Hugs and Love. Dios Te Bendiga. Carmelita Macias Apodaca 5/4/1944 – 2/14/2023
