Brianna Fort Obituary

Brianna Lanise Fort, age 25, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2002. She was born on October 10,1997 in New Orleans, LA to Melissa Fort and Charles Wilson, Jr.

At the age of 7, her family was displaced due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina and they ultimately relocated to Dallas, TX. Brianna loved to sing, and she was in the Choir at Naaman Forest High School in Garland, TX. She dreamed of becoming a famous singer one day doing what she loved to do the most. Brianna also planned to become a business owner one day having her own clothing line. In an effort to achieve her goal she attended Lone Star Ball Community College in Houston, TX majoring in Business Management.

After some time, Brianna decided to move back to Garland and started working for Once Upon a Time Daycare. Even though she didn't have children of her own, she enjoyed working with the babies and tiny toddler's and she also treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. They were her favorite and they brought so much joy to her.
Unfortunately, her job ended with the day care, and she began working at Allied Universal Security Monitoring Services and later became employed at DFW Airport at American Airlines patrolling the grounds. Brianna was a smart and intelligent young lady. She was kind and was always willing to help others in need. Brianna loved people and if you were down, she would be in your corner no matter what and she could make you laugh even if you were mad. She always said funny things to change the mood. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend. Her hobbies were reading, writing and dancing and singing. All her teachers thought she would make a great journalist.

Brianna had a love for dogs. She had a pit bull named Jasper who was always by her side. Sadly, he was with her on that tragic day and also passed away. She was a positive individual and always had a smile. She had great energy and was always happy and Purple was by far her favorite color. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Brianna is proceeded in death by Grandfathers Harvey Jackson and Charles Wilson, Aunt Gloria Lee Williams and Cousin Denzel Fort.

She is survived by her Mother Melissa Fort, Father Charles Wilson,
