It is with deep sadness and heartfelt gratitude for her life that we announce the passing of Beverly J. Carter, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver, who passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Beverly was born on January 26, 1952, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the second child of James Earl Beeson and Barbara Annis Beeson. Throughout her life, she exemplified compassion, love, and service to her family and all those around her, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Beverly is survived by her four children: David, Heath, Bryce, and Lauren, along with their spouses and twelve grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William A. Carter Jr. (Bill), whom she married in 1972. Together, they built a loving home and raised a close-knit family, deeply committed to one another.
For over forty years, Beverly worked as a nurse, offering care, comfort, and compassion to countless patients. She also showed profound devotion in caring for her husband Bill during his battle with two brain tumors. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love during those difficult times were rooted in her faith, and her trust in Jesus Christ was her constant source of strength.
In her later years, Beverly faced the challenges of Alzheimer’s Disease with grace and dignity, supported by the love and care of her family. Even through her struggles, she remained a source of inspiration to those around her, relying on her faith in God to sustain her. Her courage, perseverance, and enduring spirit were a testament to the power of God's love.
Beverly’s legacy is one of unwavering love, dedication to her family, and a heart full of kindness for others. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, selflessness, and deep devotion to those she loved.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on November 27th at 10:00 AM at Benchmark Bible Church in Denton, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Alzheimer’s Association in her honor.
Though we will deeply miss Beverly, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her warmth, kindness, and love.
