Anthony Eugene Johnson

On Sunday, November 14,2021 Anthony Eugene Johnson known as “Ant” or “AJ” transitioned to his heavenly home. Anthony was born on June 7,1992 at Harlem hospital in Manhattan, New York to Ivy T. Johnson and Anthony E. Armstrong. Ivy has 5 children: Anthony, Dijonna, Chelsea, Terra and Briana. Anthony E. Armstrong has 4 children: Anthony J, Khalid A, Deja A, and Omari A. Anthony was the oldest of seven, growing up in multiple cities and states. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Dallas, Texas in 2011. By 2016, Anthony accomplished an Associate Degree in A.A. General Studies from a Dallas Community College. He was currently taking classes at the University of North Texas studying Information and Applied Technology with a minor in Technical Communications. Anthony was due to graduate in January 2022. His professional career was as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist and Educator with 10+ years of experience in this profession. He sought many roles in dynamic companies to fully utilize his expertise and skills. Anthony was self-motivated, a hard worker, and a dedicated professional who wanted to meet the challenges posed in the industry and to contribute to the growth of the world. He was able to quickly learn new information and become a productive team member. Anthony was handsome, smart, and intelligent. He served as a leader and mentor to his family (especially his siblings) and friends. Anthony was known to go above and beyond in more ways than one. He lived his life happy with no excuses. Simply the way he wanted. Anthony filled his life with amazing national and international adventures. For example: trips to Colorado, Vegas, Cuba, and Ireland. Just to name a few. Fulfilling and loving he was. His smile, laughter would brighten up every room. Anthony was full of life with a vibrant, fiery, sassy, warm, generous, and “East Coast Swag”. Anthony was truly unique. One of his most favorite things to do was dine at the finest restaurant and that he did. Anthony Eugene Johnson memory will FOREVER LIVE in the HEARTS of his loving mother: Ivy T. G., 1 aunt: Sabrina J., 4 nieces: Halayna 7, Stacey 5, London 2, Hannah 1, and 1 nephew 5 months old baby-six. Godmother: Irma F.J., along with a host of cousins and friends.
