Salvador "Chava" Castillo II, 67, of Allen, TX, passed away on June 7, 2017.
Visitation and funeral service will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM June14, 2017 at Gateway Funerals & Cremation. Burial will be at a later date in Cameron, TX.
Salvador was born in Laredo, TX on August 31, 1949.
Salvador worked as a welder for decades as well as performed many agricultural jobs. He enjoyed traveling, outdoor activities and fiestas.
Salvador is survived by his children Salvador Castillo III, Patty Hodge, Juan Jesus Castillo, Laura Castillo Wissert and Naomi Hayes, 16 grandchildren, brothers Raul Garcia Eggers, Carlos Castillo, Mario Castillo and Fernando Castillo, sisters Sonia Morales, Diana Martinez, Elizabeth Saenz, Maria Elena Jimenez and San Juana Castillo, and other family and friends.
Salvador is preceded in death by wife Beatrice Castillo, sisters Bertha Garcia Eggers and Rosalinda Rodriguez, and parents Salvador Castillo Guerrero and Alicia Eggers Castillo.
