Linda Stewart Grissom passed away Nov. 17, 2017. She was born Sept. 25, 1949 in Chickasha, OK to James and Hazel Stewart and attended High School at Capitol Hill in OKC. Linda will always be remembered by her beautiful smile that lit up a room, kind and generous spirit with a work ethic like no other. Linda loved her lifelong career in the retail apparel industry as a buyer, seller and owner. Her creative outlet was spent as an avid collector of dolls and was a member of the Bluebonnet Doll Club for 20+ years in Plano, TX. Above all, Linda loved her family, friends and business associates beyond measure.
Linda is survived by her two daughters Missy Gunter Fleming, husband Rob, and precious grandchildren Ian, Anna and Katie; daughter Ami Gunter Davis, husband Tommy and precious granddaughter Charlie; step-children Jennifer Schultz and Jason Grissom; brother Jim and wife Linda Stewart; sisters-in-law Sandy and Jan Stewart as well as nieces and nephews, extended family and friends whom will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Grissom, Charles Gunter (father of Missy & Ami) and two brothers Jerb and Don Stewart as well as other loved ones. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK with a celebration of life luncheon immediately following the service at Interurban Restaurant, Chickasha, OK. In lieu of flowers please consider a monetary donation to the Alzheimer's Association to aid in research for a much needed cure.
