Juana Larios Luckenbach, 73, of Carrollton, TX, passed away, 8 February, 2017.
Juana (Julie) was born on July 25, 1943 in Isla Christina, (Providence of Huelva), Spain to Joaquin Larios Almeida and Encarnacion Rodriquez Beltran. Juana was a housewife. She married James William Luckenbach on 23 April 1965 in the city of Huelva, Spain. Juana traveled many places in the world with her husband during his Navy Career. She enjoyed her home and was always meticulous in its upkeep and yard plants. She especially loved Spanish Flamenco Dancing and Music, including singing at a young age. Juana loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.
Mrs. Luckenbach is preceded in death by one sister, Antonia Larios Rodriquez and one brother, Joaquin Larios Rodriquez.
Survivors include her husband, James William Luckenbach, one daughter, Christine Dodd and husband Will of Carrollton, TX, one son, Daniel Luckenbach of Denton, TX and four grandchildren - Brandon James Luckenbach of Lubbock, TX, Lindsey Ann Dodd, Richard Austin Dodd and Jacob Patrick Dodd of Carrollton, TX. Additional survivors include one brother, Juan Larios Rodriquez, and five sisters Catalina Larios Rodriquez, Rosario Larios Rodriquez, Encarnacion Larios Valdez, Maria Larios Rodriquez, and Carmen Larios Gonzales.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, 25 February 2017 followed by a Reception at GATEWAY Funerals & Cremation, 17390 Preston Road, Suite 310, Dallas, Texas 75252. Hospice Chaplin Pam Smith will officiate the service.
