Harold Clifford Rector, 95, of Dallas and Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 26, 2018.
Harold was born in Independence, Kentucky on March 16, 1923. He was graduated from Simon Kenton High School and continued on to receive a law degree from Southern Methodist University.
Harold was preceded in death by two spouses in Amarillo. He was married to Mary Beth Gilmore on August 27, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and following Mary Beth's death married Margaret Robbins on January 1, 2003.
Harold was a weather forecaster for the Air Force during World War II. In 1954, he joined the Amarillo law firm Gibson, Ocshner, and Adkins where he practiced for 35 years. Harold enjoyed farming and ranching in his leisure time.
Survivors include his daughters Sharon Rector of Houston and Suzanne Dale and husband Randy of Dallas and grandsons Justin Dale and Tanner Dale of Dallas.
A memorial will be held in Dallas at C.C. Young Senior Living Facility at 4:30 pm April 2 followed by a family memorial in Amarillo.
