Sylvia O'Clare Schorr, 76, of this time and space, passed away peacefully April 7, 2019 with her family by her side. She was extremely creative and spiritual in life and a talented pattern designer. She leveraged those traits to design many fascinating soft dolls, teddy bears and wedding dresses... even once for a bridal party of dogs!
Sylvia was always a seer of many things and her passions included; writing, story telling, film, dancing, archaeology, activism, chocolate in any form, anthropology, Pepsi and tuna. She was a loving mother and was immensely proud of her family.
She was born to parents Cecil & Siegfried Lundeby, August 9, 1942 in McVille, ND. Sylvia graduated from Central High School in Bismarck, North Dakota. She eventually earned a degree in Anthropology, but not before jetting off to New York City to dance, because sometimes you just have to dance!
Sylvia is survived by her two sons: Robert (Julie) Rosenau and Christopher (Trisha) Rosenau.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Bryce, Crete, Ellis, Philadelphia, Sierra, Camryn, Brendan, Boden, and Kallaya.
As well as her seven siblings: Bruce (Margie), Dwight, Ginger (Jim) Smallwood, Mark, Cyndee (Dave) Johnson, Luther (Vicky), and Kirsten.
A memorial service will be held in Carmel, CA sometime in late June. Search out Starship California on Facebook for more information.
