RT Gillespie Obituary
RT Gillespie, age 80, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on December 12, 2018.
The funeral service will be held December 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Presbyterian Hospice Spiritual Health Care Center, 12477 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX 75251. Reverend Jarod A. Cooper will be officiating.
RT was born in Booneville, Arkansas on July 22, 1938. He was married to Sharon Caylor Blair on July 4, 1980; they were married 38 years.
RT worked as a salesperson/repairman for Walt's Appliance for 20 years. He was Owner and CEO of Gillespie Trucking for 5 years. RT was a salesman for Caylor Specialty Materials for 25 years. He was Owner and CEO of Caylor Sports Sands for 6 years and then he retired. RT enjoyed fishing, spending time with his wife and grandchildren, and playing games on his computer. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
RT is survived by his wife Sharon Ann Gillespie; his children, Darlene married to Keith Kramer, Rodney Gillespie married to Bobbie, Denise Gillespie, Keith Blair married to Carla, Tonya married to Michael Tapp, Baria married to Todd Folse; and 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
RT is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lilly Cline Gillespie; siblings, Herman, Salma Mae, Charlene, Gussie Faye, and Elizabeth Ophia; and his son, Ronnie Gillespie.
The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Faith Presbyterian Hospice. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial donations to Faith Presbyterian Hospice at 12477 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX 75251.
