Linda T. Johnston was born in Troy, Alabama to the parents of William F. and Mary B. Turner.
After graduating high school she married John Johnston. They moved from Alabama to Georgia, North Carolina and finally residing in Texas. She worked outside of the home, including Pepsi, Comal-Tex Insurance and Hunsucker Insurance until John’s passing in 1981. Following his death, Linda devoted herself to raising their children, Kristin and Jason. Linda was always active in the church from childhood on and loved the Lord. Besides her children her church, she loved the outdoors. Linda often planned vacations and trips to the beach with family and friends. This was her special place. Soon after becoming a grandmother she moved from Longview, Texas to Frisco to be closer to both children and her grandchildren. She remained active in all of their lives, ensuring each of them how much she loved them.
Linda T. Johnston had two children, Kristin Rene’ Brull of Carrolton, Texas and Jason Bradley Johnston of Waco, Texas. She is also survived by her brother Robert (Bob) Turner and wife Becky, her grandchildren, Riley Brull, Emily Brull, Jameson Brull of Carrolton and Johnathan Johnston and Jadyn Johnston of Waco.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband John, her mother and father and her sister Betty Watkins.
