Janet Dobbs Obituary
Janet L Dobbs, 60, of Denton passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:30pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1801 Malone St., in Denton.
Janet was born September 15, 1958 in Portsmouth, Virginia to John and Irene (Hurst) White. After widowed, she moved to Denton, Texas to attend TWU. She married Clint L Dobbs in Denton, June 30, 1991. She worked at The University of North Texas in the printing department until she retired. She was a tenderhearted giver and encourager and gifted creative artist and seamstress.
Those left to cherish Janet's memories are her husband Clint Dobbs of Denton; her daughter Audrey Canuteson and her husband Cody, her son Aaron Tuck of Denton and his fiancée Amanda. Her mother, Irene White of Farmington, Missouri, two brothers, Tom White of Cape Girardeau, MO and Eddie White of Farmington, MO and a sister Mary Gaston of Farmington, Mo. She adored having 4 grandchildren in her life - Rhys Garza, Max and Maura Canuteson and Truitt Pilley.
She is preceded in death by her father John White, and her first husband Terry L Cunningham.
She had requested memorials to be made to the patient/medication assistance program at the American Transplant Foundation or charity of your preference in lieu of flowers.
