Ramona Lenae Conrad-Rio, age 51 of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in Plano, Texas. She was born to Raymond and Janet Conrad on April 15, 1966, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Ramona attended Central Elementary School, Delay Middle School, and Lewisville High School. In her youth, Ramona was a girl scout and loved to play softball. At the age of 15, Ramona took a job at Beta Products, and although the company and name changed several times, she worked for the same company in some capacity for over 30 years. She was most recently employed by Forney Corporation in Dallas.
Ramona was a wonderful cook, and always loved trying new recipes. She collected cook books, many gathered from family members and estate sales. She loved music, and when with her daughters and other family members, would frequently lead the group in random songs, triggered by a word or phrase that she heard. She loved adventure and visiting new places. Ramona loved Christmas and was very creative. She loved making, and picking out gifts for family and friends. She loved taking pictures and filled her homes with pictures of family and friends.
Ramona is survived by her parents, Janet and Raymond Conrad, daughters Breeanna and Annabella Rio, granddaughter Ryleigh Rio, sister Melissa Conrad, brother-in-law Cory Taylor, niece Hannah Conrad and many caring friends and relatives.
