Hermon A. "Mickey" Inmon Jr. 80, of Terrell, Texas passed away on November 21, 2016.
A family graveside military service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery on December 2, 2016. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gateway Funerals and Cremation.
Mickey was born in Kerens, Texas on April 8, 1936. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and entered the United States Marine Corp in 1954.
Mickey was married to Jeanne Martin on May 11, 1957. They were married 59 years.
Mickey worked as a police officer and then a fire fighter for the City of Dallas for 29 years. He retired and lived on Caddo Lake for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, bass fishing, making chili and good times with family and friends.
Mickey is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughters Julie LaMonte and husband Rick, Donna Cantrell and husband Howard, Kim Jones and husband Willy, son Owen Inmon and wife Lisa, 7 grandsons, 2 great-grandchildren, his nephew Jeff Edwards and nieces Jan Holcomb and Jill Eason. .
Mickey is preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law June and Bill Edwards.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the charity of your choice. The family of Hermon (Mickey) Inmon wishes to thank Faith Hospice and everyone at Texas Oncology.
