Chad Palmer Obituary

Chad Ray Palmer, 64, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2016.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 23, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5095 Coit Rd, Frisco, Tx 75035. Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the same location. Burial will follow the funeral at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 N Central Expressway, McKinney, Tx 75071 at 4pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gateway Funeral Home.
Chad was born in Phoenix, AZ on June 30, 1952. He graduated from East High School and after serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tennessee Nashville Mission he continued on to receive a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University, a Master degree in Social Work from the University of Texas, and a Master degree in Business from The University of Texas.
Chad was married to Linda Sue Glenn on May 12,1978; they were married 38 years.
Chad loved the Lord and had a strong testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ and His role as our Savior. He was actively involved in serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Chad was a loving and dedicated husband and father and adored his 10 grandchildren. His family was the joy of his life. Chad worked as a Compliance Officer for Tenet Healthcare Corporation for 12 years. He thoroughly enjoyed the associations he shared with the people he worked with.
Chad is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Jennifer Barney (Brian), son Aaron Palmer (Marissa), daughter Kristin Young (Ferron), brothers Paul Palmer, Val Palmer (Rene), Len Palmer and sister D'Vonna Conyers (Don). Chad is survived by 10 grandchildren: Seth, Benjamin, Joshua, Xylee, Aubrey, Jacob, Rachel, Rebekah, Jacklyn, Elizabeth, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Chad is preceded in death by his brother Gary Palmer, father Paul Palmer and mother Beth Palmer.
