Baron Meliza Obituary

Baron Lee Meliza, 48, of Dallas,Texas, went to see Jesus on November 15, 2017 of pancreatic cancer.
Baron's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Park Cities Baptist Church in The Sanctuary. A reception will be held in The Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
Baron was born in Lubbock, Texas on June 4,1969. He graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1987. He continued on to receive his undergraduate degree from University of Texas San Antonio. He then received a Masters in Business from Texas State University.
Baron was married to Allison on December 21,1991; they were married for 25 years. Baron & Allison were high school sweethearts. They were a true modern day romantic love story.
He began working at Sound Warehouse selling CD's because of his love of music while attending Baylor University and throughout college. After his graduate degree, Blockbuster recruited him to their corporate office where he had an exciting & successful career in Marketing. For the past 8 years Baron was a Vice President of Strategy at Brierley+Partners where he created some of the world's most engaging and profitable loyalty programs for companies throughout the United States and Internationally.
Baron had a great love of life and his sense of humor made everything lighter. He was a truly selfless person and had a huge giving heart. Baron loved music, movies, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his girls. This included taking them on many outdoor adventures, lots of Baylor games & always having a wonderful time.
Baron is survived by the love of his life, Allison, and his pride & joy, his beautiful daughters Emilie, 20 and Abbie,17. His mother Sandi Grant and her husband Johnny. His father Robert Wesson and wife Alex. His brother, Nathan and his wife Melanie and their son, Max. His aunt and uncle Larry & Rebecca Wesson and their daughter Mary. His aunt Linda Wesson and her son Chris. His mother in-law Sheryl Graham Straubel and her husband Tim and his brother in-law Gordon Graham Jr.
Baron is preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon and Johnnie Smithee, his father in-law Dr. Gordon Graham, and his wife's grandparents Raymond and Mildred Graham.
